Saint-Tropez's old town and bell tower above the turquoise bay, framed by umbrella pines

Destinations · Côte d'Azur · France

Saint-Tropez, by private jet.

Saint-Tropez has its own airfield, La Môle, a short drive from the port — but it is small, and in July and August the whole Riviera is busy. Which airport you land at depends on the aircraft, and the aircraft depends on how close you want to land.

The airports

LFTZ

La Môle – Saint-Tropez

The closest field, roughly 25 minutes from the old port. A short runway limits it to light and smaller midsize jets.

LFTH

Toulon-Hyères

A longer runway to the west, about an hour by road — the usual choice for midsize and larger aircraft.

LFMN

Nice Côte d'Azur

Full services for any aircraft size, with a helicopter transfer along the coast to Saint-Tropez.

Superyachts moored in front of the pastel waterfront of Saint-Tropez

The aircraft that fits.

A light or small midsize jet can land at La Môle and save the drive. Large-cabin and long-range aircraft are planned into Nice or Toulon-Hyères, with the last leg by helicopter or car.

When to brief early.

July and August are the peak, and Nice also carries the traffic of the Cannes festival in May and the Monaco Grand Prix. Brief early for those weeks — parking at the smaller fields fills first.
