Park City, by private jet.

Park City is one of the easiest mountain towns in North America to reach by private jet: two very different airports sit within about half an hour of Deer Valley, and a major international airport is under an hour away.

The airports

KHCR

Heber Valley

About 20 minutes from Deer Valley. Runway of 6,898 ft at roughly 5,600 ft elevation — well suited to light and midsize jets.

SLC

Salt Lake City International

Under an hour by road. Long runways and full services; the default for large-cabin and long-range aircraft.

PVU

Provo

An alternate south of the valley when the other two are busy or weather moves through.

The aircraft that fits.

For Heber, a light or midsize jet keeps the drive shortest. Large-cabin and long-range aircraft are normally planned into Salt Lake City, where runway length removes the weight and temperature questions.

When to brief early.

Sundance in January and the Christmas holidays are the busiest weeks for both fields. In winter, Heber's elevation and snow make performance planning part of every quote.
